Meatless Drive-Thru Opens in Las Vegas

MEATLESS DRIVE-THRU OPENS IN LAS VEGAS

Written by Dalton Sweet

This past September, Chef Kenny Chye opened VegeWay Burger, a plant-based fast food restaurant that offers Asian-inspired dishes paired with American classics. VegeWay Burger affordably offers “enough options to make you forget this is a meatless venture.” Popular favorites on the menu include meatless burgers, popcorn "chicken", and fried zucchini. Cheap prices make these healthy choices appealing to customers, with sandwiches available for less than $7, and side items starting at just $3.

This isn’t Chef Chye’s first venture into plant-based restaurants. Back in 2012, he opened Chinese hotspot Veggie House, also in Las Vegas. Its success has allowed him to perfect recipes, expand menu selection, and serve the growing plant-based community.

VegeWay Burgers highlights the increased availability and convenience of reducetarian foods. Healthy, compassionate, and environmentally-friendly meals are becoming more widespread and easily accessable. And if you’re in Las Vegas, you can now order delicious meat-free foods without even getting out of your car.
