About the guest:

John is the CEO of Cultured Decadence, a Wisconsin-based cellular agriculture company developing cell-cultured seafood--starting with lobster. Prior to co-founding Cultured Decadence, he was director of operations at New Age Meats, a cell-cultured meat company focused on pork. Previously, he worked in the US and China in various operations and consulting roles before serving as an Army officer for four years. He received his BA in Economics from UW-Milwaukee and MBA from NYU-Stern. John serves on the Board of Directors at New Harvest, the leading non-profit research institute dedicated to advancing cell-cultured meat technologies.
