Celebrate Earth Day 2016

Entering its forty-sixth year of love and activism for our planet, Earth Day will be celebrated around the globe this Friday, April 22. Don't miss this opportunity to show how much you care.

Thousands of events are slated to take place, bringing together the world's inspirational community of environmentalists, including reducetarians! Visit the official Earth Day website for a sampling of events open to the public. Meeting likeminded individuals can remind us that there is hope for our planet, and learning more about others' initiatives is a great way to get involved in the cause.

It's our responsibility as reducetarians to not only eat ethically and responsibly ourselves, but to help spread the word so that others can do alongside us. Attend Earth Day events and be proud to be reducetarian. You can raise awareness by showing off your reducetarian tee, sharing reducetarian recipes, and even cooking reducetarian meals for others.

There are plenty of things you can do to lend a hand to our planet this Earth Day, and eating less meat at each of your meals is just one. We challenge you to go meat free for the entire day this Friday, and encourage you to use your imagination to go above and beyond.

Happy Earth Day!
